Fed up with people saying bass players or bass instruments is useless. =.= or they dun sound nice etc... Please la people, you guys are not even in the music industry and have no knowledge about music who are u to judge the bassists?!
Bass: Tubas, Bassoons, Bass Clarinets, Baritone Saxophone, sometimes Euphoniums and Trombones. We provide the skeletal of the whole music. Yes, people hear the melody, but music without bass? It's like... Human without skeletons?
We, like the high pitch instruments, can play soloes. Yes, we can. And yes, we play it nice. It's up to u to decide if it's nice to you or not. You dun say it's not nice by general.
Although the bass is important, melodious instruments are important as well. Yes, they can play the bass part at times. Vice versa, bass instruments can play the melody too.
Another thing, People, STOP staring at musicians who carry big and heavy instrument bags on their back, eg, tuba bag. =.= Hey, what's wrong with carrying the tuba? Stop glaring or starring. Either you have never seen a tuba before, or you are just stupid. =.= Don't you know it's rude to stare?! Go on, stare more. I'll just glare back. Or should I be guai lan and say "Yea, It's the tuba. oh wait, do u know what is a tuba since u keep starring at it and think wad it is? (:" XD
