What a rare weekday that I actually have time to post. LOL nah, actually, I'm just heck caring homework that's not due tomorrow. HAHS!

Seriously, (Don't Laugh) I really think I've grown mature as compared to end of sec 2. Or even the beginning of 3 (Which is like early Jan?). I know I act childish-ly when I'm with my friends. But really, I really really think that's not childish. That's having fun. LOL

I surprised myself with the way I think and what I say to my peers. As compared to the old me, I would have agreed with their complaints. But now, I'm standing in another position and looking at a different view. Explaining to them what's wrong and what's not.

Maybe I'm changing because I'm preparing myself to be a leader. hahas. Tough job, yea. But really gonna give it all my best. It'll gonna be fun! :D One whole year of leading something you like. Sounds great yea? Excited for it. ^^

Progress report stunned me. Not trying to discriminate any of my schoolmates who is reading my blog. LOL But really. I've never expected myself to get 5 A1s, 1 A2 and 2 B4s. How I wish this is O levels. LOL

Okay, enough of results. SYF is coming up. In a month's time. Jiayou for all band members! Strive for gold yea? :D

After SYF, it will be the planning of band camp, band chalet(?), band outing(?), and section outing. LOL oh yea, there's POP too. We'll then have fun and play fun songs! :D Juniors will start playing with the main band which is when the seniors will have to do most of the teachings. Great year ahead! :D

Oh yea, I just realize all my posts all long. Does this indicate that I'm long winded? LOL

Yesterday was our school's public concert. We performed 3 pieces. Symphonic Episode 1, Ride and Disco Party 3. I'm proud to say all of us worked hard for it. Which makes this performance a success no matter how much we screwed it up. (: Hua Yi Band members, once again, I'm proud of you. Continue to rock on.

When the curtain opens, I hear the thunderous clappings and the roars of cheers. This really motivates me to become a music performer. Although I can't see the audience there because the hall is dark, although I know some of the audience don't come to the concert just for band, although I know some of the audience don't appreciate music, the claps and cheers really was appreciated. The quietness when we were playing was also appreciated. (:

Symphonic Episode 1 is a slow nice song. I hope not many of the audience fell asleep while listening to it because our next piece is Ride. LOL Disco party 3 hyped up the audience thanks to Chao Xiang's "I Can't give you anything but my love" solo. hahas. Great job to all soloists! not only for this song but for the 2 other songs! :D You guys had practiced hard. (:

The audience clapped and cheered once again when we finished performing. The curtain closed and band's performance is over. We head back to our dressing room and packed up our instruments. This is the time when I truly felt the closeness of the band. The whole band was taking pictures, cheering and playing together. I was touched by this moment. I've always thought Hua Yi Concert Band is not at all bonded. But yesterday proved my wrong.

The finale made me more certain that HYCB is bonded. We did our HYCB wave at the back of the stage while the hip hop is pathetically dancing at the front, stealing the spot light. When we were singing the school song, HYCB members sang the loudest. We even waved our hands when we sang. HAHAS!

The concert is finally over. HYCB proceed back to our dressing room to get our instruments and stands to the lorry. And we went back to school.

Everyone was exhausted by then. Some went back home, some went for dinner, then went back home.

HYCB, I'm proud of you, and you'll be in my heart after I graduate. Now, SYF'11 is only 30+ days away. Let's us all work hard and strive for a gold after getting 10 years of silver. We'll make Mr Tan proud, make the school regret looking down on us, let other school bands look up to us. (: Let us all make each other proud once again. (:

Is that the reason or are those the reasons why people are pissed with me? Or at least why I offend people?

Or am i simply thinking too much?

I don't want to say sorry anymore. I don't want to make mistakes anymore. Yes, no one is perfect, but wouldn't everyone wants to have mistakes to their minimum? All these crap I've been doing has been making my friends emo. I'm sorry. I'll try not to do it again. I'll try to control myself.

Seeing my friends emo makes me feel hurt. Maybe because I feel useless not able to cheer them up. I know I myself is also emo-ing, but , Dudes! Can all of you start asking your mouths to tilt upwards instead of pulling a sad face?!

The sight of my friends being happy is enough to make me smile. Maybe this is the reason why I keep apologising when someone gives a stern face. Hahas.

I read this quote somewhere. Saying something like "Sometimes, if you apologise, it doesn't mean you are admitting you are in the wrong, but it means you treasure this relationship more than your pride". I agree with this quote. But I've never really felt like this before. Because I'm always the one in fault.

I couldn't bear the thought of my best friends quarelling. What am I going to do? Neither the thought of me quarelling with my best friend (again). What are our friends going to do? Bring stuck in the middle never feels good. Again, I am seldom stuck in the middle because I'm mostly involved in the conflict.

I should start treasuring my friends more. Period.

Notice all of us are wearing different colours except that there are 2 blacks? xD this is so damn cool. LOL we didnt plan for this. But just so coincidentally, everyone wore different colours of shirts. LOL ok, get to the main point of the post...

Mr Tan offered 2 tubas to me. One is german brand tuba. Second hand costing $2000. BBb and 4 rotary valves. It's now in accent and is reserved for Mr Tan. Another tuba is china brand. CC tuba. First hand costing (maybe) less than $2000.

I don't know if i should get a tuba now. Or if which tuba should i buy. But the price is really attractive. $2000... I may never get such a cheap price for a good tuba. And NAFA needs CC tuba. But if i buy it now, i wont be able to use it except for learning the fingerings. I cant possibly tranpose all my scores...

Through yesterday's instrument talk with mr tan, i realized sec 3 batch has the most numberof enthusiastic band members but it's the batch with the least number of members in the band. This makes me proud. (:

So far, Sec 3 life suck totally. Teachers spam homework like there's no tomorrow... No, im just exaggerating. But if there's a day without homework, I would cheer. xD and tests... god damn it... im experiencing 6 consecutive weekdays of tests. and because of tests and lessons, i've been missing out band practices... haiz... (Yes, this is the main point why i hate sec 3 life)

Wed still have to stay back for physics plotting graph lesson... Have to miss out sectionals again. I dun get it. We have physics during curriculum time too. Why cant Mdm Yeo teach during curriculum hours?!

And looking at out school's new system, i officially announce huayi secondary school completely screwed. 6pm leave school... sit according to index number during assemblies... sec 3 camp 1 or 2 weeks before SYF... at the end of the day, the school will only find disappointment as they already planned so much.

Now, linking back to the picture i posted on top. I love my friends. Yes, i would use love. (: Although they snatch my food everytime and leave only less than 5 piece out of about 20 pieces for me when i bought my food, although they are retarded and a bunch of crazy retard, although we tease and laugh and each other everyday, I still say I love them. (: Thanks Choonhiang, Chiaowen, Qinyan, Samuel, Nicholas. You guys have just made my sec 3 life less hell-ish. I know i do tease and laugh at u all overboard sometimes. im sorry. And i may be unreasonable at times when im pissed or wad. Sorry too. Im just not right in the mind. Thanks guys, you're the best. (:

I think im becoming more mature. (Don't laugh, seriously) I have surprised myself by what i said. LOL It's either sec 3 life or that has made me think of a big picture. Either im becoming more sensible, or i've been possessed. LOL

Once again, let's hope for a tuba junior. Hopefully a girl. xD Hope Mr Tan don't forget that Chuanjie is Sec 4 now and we need to get a new sec 1 to replace him. *Fingers crossed*

It's a damn pity that I only realized this when I'm a pathetic sec 3. Well, this may not be entirely true, but it will be applied to me. I'll try to bond with the sec 2s and the coming sec 1s. I'll try not to get pissed(This gonna be dfficult). I'll be a better senior. (:

the sec 2s and the sec 3s must really bond. i guess it's the distance between the 2 batch that causes some misunderstandings? come on peers, let's forgive and forget. :D i know it's easier said than done. But "If there's a will, there's a way". xD Let's get to know the sec 2s once more. Let's teach them in a different way. Let's discipline them in a different way. :D win-win situation. :D

Yea, it's true that win-win situation is really damn difficult to achieve. But if your junior sees u making effort in bonding and trying to make them play better or whatever, they should have at least a bit of paiseh-ness and pei he u rite? :D or worse come to worst, sympathy la. And as musicians, we only care for results arent we? So if the result is within satisfaction, who cares about the sacrifications? Plus, you have to sacrifice to achieve ur goals rite?

Come on peers, let's all do it for hua yi concert band. stop bearing grudges on your juniors. Let's be bonded. :D

YO! Happy Chinese New Year peeps!

Malaysia trip was cancelled. WOOTS! xD spending new year in Singapore! :D

Had fun with cousins for the past 2 days. Eve of CNY and 1st day of CNY. watched 2 movies in 2 days. LOL Eve watched Shaolin and watched I love HK yesterday. It's been long since i spent so much time with cousins. hahas.

Didn't collect as much hong bao as previous years. LOL and this year no chocolates! T.T Ah ma's curry also kena kop-ed by people until no more. T.T But had real fun with Liping, Yingxiang, Peilu, Ah qi and Ah xin. :D played monopoy deal, saboteur and san guo sha! Spent about 4 hours explaining and playing these 3 games. LOL

Oh yea! The sakae sushi's yu sheng was DAMN nice! MUCH MUCH nicer than the DAMN nice chicken rice. ROFL! Samuel, Choonhiang, Chiaowen, Qinyan and Nicholas! Let's have sectionals tmr or the day after tmr den have yu sheng as dinner. ROFL!

Miss those times when liping, yingxiang, peilu and me were in primary school. so carefree and full of time. every weekend we'll go ah ma jia to talk and play. hahas. now, we're in sec sch and poly and jc... we're all working hard for our o levels, a levels or diploma. soon, we'll all be working and cant spend time together again. especially when kid's games seem so fun when we play it together. HAHA! Let's watch movies together again some time! :D

I changed my playlist! Choonhiang, you wont hear anymore "VIVA!" when u enter my blog in ur URL browser anymore. LOL i removed the old songs and added new ones. I've set to shuffle so everytime you all visit my blog, it'll be a different song. :D if not everytime come my blog same song very sian rite? xD ok, that's all! :D

been thinking this last night. I'm sorry im not a good friend. And even sorry i'll not going to be a better friend after i post this. I'm sure my acts or thoughts or words would make every one of u upset. I'm sorry about that. But I'm trying my best to control myself, though i doubt i would succeed.

You said you like band. But everytime there's an extension to the timing, you complain. And this is not the first time you pon practice. How do you convince people u like band then? Being a musician, reponsibility is utmost important. And being in huayi band, respect is equally important. I have nothing else to say... Please reflect on your actions and words.

Been hoping for a girl junior (Yes, choonhiang and samuel, im serious). But CCA list havent come out yet. Praying for a girl tuba junior. xD not because im tiko or wants to flirt as commented by who i call my best friends, but i want the batches that comes in after this girl junior wouldn't think tuba is just for guys. Plus, a girl is easier to control than a guy. xD

Still cracking brain to think of POP gift for chuan jie and sen mian. haiz...

Hope malaysia trip is cancelled. xD i dun want to spend my chinese new year in malaysia~~~ Hope it rains tmr and flood malaysia so train wont be able to pass. den i'll be spending chinese new year in singapore! WOOTS! will go grandma house and meet with liping, yingxiang and peilu! WOOTS! miss my cousins lots. and we'll all be talking about all sorts of things. LOL it will be so damn much better than going to malaysia. There's no one i know there =.=. and i can finish my homework and practice tuba if i dun go over to malaysia! WOOTS! GOD!!!
