Went to mayflower today to have practice. took taxi and it cost $32+ LOL wth right?! me, chiaowen and nicholas shared costs. so yea, one red note of mine and chiao wen flew away coz of my god damn heavy tuba. MRT and bus seemed too risky of me, so yea. LOL
i'll skip the whole practice since im not really in the mood to post. LOL
lunch break... went to nearby coffee shop to eat. THE CHICKEN RICE IS DAMN NICE! IT COSTS $2 ONLY. and it's very little la. BUT IT'S DAMN NICE. i ate 2 plates. LOL! coz i was hungry and it was nice. :P
ok, went back for sectionals. joined their lower brass section for sectionals. Amelia conducted. If there's one thing i learnt from this trip, it is how to conduct sectionals. Chuanjie's way and Amelia's way of conducting is totally, completely different. I actually needed some time to get used to it. I've learnt for Amelia that I really need to stand firm on what I say. And really, discipline. LOL She is so much more strict than Chuanjie.
Amelia got despo after a while. So i offered my help to coach tuba juniors and amelia would take eupho. Tim Lin, one sec one tuba player from mayflower, writes down wadever mr tan said, and wadever i said. LOL i was really impressed. Amelia did write down too. Mayflower band is really hardworking, or at least their tuba players. This is wad i really have to learn. LOL All their scores are full with pencil markings and highlighter ink... and when i said something like "this place need crescendo", "this place need to play short", they really really write it down.
Blah blah blah... Sectionals ending, went back band room to pack, put my tuba in their band store room. (i miss my tuba. T.T)
Went to clarinet outing. LOL at vivo. with nicholas and chiao wen. LOL played a few rounds of murderer and mafia. ate with nicholas and chiao wen. MRT-ed and Bus-ed back home.

ok, i dun care if i get slashed or wad liao. I'm just going for my band practices and exercises. no one's stopping me. please, i'm already 14. i can take care of myself. stop trapping me in four walls. I want to practice. Yes, ang mo kio, mayflower sec, so what?! gah... why are you always so overprotective?! The slashing incidence has stopped for about one month! stop worrying! I'm going fr my band practices AND concerts AND exercises. The people who slashed probably got caught and ran away. And u dun see the WHOLE of the area getting slashed! I will take care of myself. and i can. Stop nagging and stopping me from doing what i like. u know i hate that. period.
